Blinky is an older kit that uses different thickness of yarn & comes out to a different size than the other ghosts. His package even lists a different final size on it than the other ghosts' package. The ghosts dont end up the same size, even when using the same hook & tension. He also comes with an expired code, the same hook as PacMan & no black embroidery thread to use as an alternative to safety eyes.
The pieces are cute and fun to make but for $200, the ghosts should match or it should be included in the description that Blinky's yarn makes a different size ghost so they wont be a matching set.
Support takes 7 days in between every response making it frustrating to find out if they will address this issue. Return requests also take 7 days to respond despite their 14 day return window.
I’ve had these kits since the launch day! I finally had the time this summer to put some work into them. I gotta say, it was so much fun and super easy to make these guys! As a whole group I’m so happy to see all my hard work had paid off!
Cute and fun to get back into crochet. Only sad point was Blinky not having a crochet hook of only him like the other ghosts but still super cute!
These kits taught me how to crochet! I had tried multiple times over the years to learn and had pretty much given up. I’m a gamer so the PAC-Man bundle was too good to resist. The multiple ghosts provided lots of practice for the different stitch types. I started with the blue ghost and by the time I got to the orange one, I no longer needed the video tutorial and was able to just use the pdf pattern that was also provided for the rest. Can’t wait to try the next two bundles I’ve ordered!
