This is definitely the best ghost kit I have done. It turned out great. I also had yarn left over. I read several reviews where people said they didn't have enough yarn. Consistent tension is one of the most difficult skills to learn in crochet, hang in there it will come with time.
I already know how to crochet (albeit poorly) and figured I’d give these kits a try. Mostly I wanted something that i knew was quick and could be easily completed, something to keep my hands busy. This did the trick! My yarn doesnt glow very well, sadly, and i found the yarn difficult to thread into the yarn needle. But, i enjoyed the process, learned a couple new things, and completed a wee project, and that makes me happy!
I love my little ghostie. I've made 16 regular sized Woobles and one Wee Woobly item. Snooky is my favorite.
I modified to make my scallops more defined and I LOVE the way it turned out. but…The glow in the dark yarn is ROUGH! It’s very stiff and a pain to work with. At least I got something cute out of it. But I won’t be using glow in dark yarn again.
This is my first wooble and first ever time crocheting. I admittedly got him almost two years ago but never started until now, because crocheting seemed intimidating. But, once I started it went better than I thought. I had to redo the first and second row a couple of times but once I figured that out it was smooth sailing until his little ripples. Which I also had to redo once, but I liked learnipg the hdc and dc in my first kit, little extra knowledge. His arms may not match but he smiles anyway, Snooky Stitchums is a wonderful and cute little guy and I'm so glad to have finally started, you could say I've been successfully hooked. (I gave him a little coffee accessory I did after)
