As someone who has made a few amigurumi, this was fun and I’m excited to try the others! Did not have the hair issue, but the bow was unnecessarily complicated, so I did an easier version using a YouTube tutorial. Just as cute :)
I had a great time making one of my favorite childhood characters! It was definitely tricky getting the bow, but ended up looking great in the end. While finishing the ponytail, I realized I was running out of orange yarn! I had to remove a few rows to be able to flatten and close it up. Otherwise, this was a great Wooble!
This was my 5th Wooble kit and it was by far the hardest one to complete! So many new techniques to learn and that bow at the end was madness! But with lots and lots of patience and love, she is finally complete! Super fun, looking forward to starting Bubbles next!
Questioning the beginner rating. I've done half a dozen kits including Sebastian and Kaida, and a dozen patterns from the Woobles book, and the bow on this kit was astronomically challenging and frustrating. I gave up on following the directions for putting it together and didn't care for the way it looked anyway so did it my own modified way.
