It has been 30-plus years since I picked up a crochet hook to create anything. Before, I was only using straight stitches to create very basic items such as scarves. I never learned how to progress further. Now, in my autumn years, I have found two new loves -- BTS and crocheting. I purchased the larger bundle because the individual kit that I wanted was sold out. Over the course of the past few weekends, I have completed three of the seven adorable BT21 Woobles. I sincerely look forward to completing the entire series.
The videos (I'm left-handed) have allowed me to feel confident in my abilities to learn new stitches and to read crocheting patterns. I have printed out the accompanying pattern for each of the Woobles in the bundle and take them with when my husband and I are going on car-trips. Instead of doing a death-scroll on my phone (while there's a cell-tower handy), I am happily crocheting while listening to BTS play on the car stereo. [The most recent trip was to the Global Citizens Festival to see Jungkook -- Cooky perform!]
I will say that the ONE drawback that I've found thus far is those little 6mm eyes! I may be ARMY-strong, but I am not physically strong. Those are near impossible to install. I simply couldn't. I had to pass the Wooble off to my husband, and even he struggled to get the washer-disc on the back of the eye. There simply has to be an easier way!!! (Maybe some helpful hints would be useful).
